Welcome to the Wichita Juvenile Justice Resource Pages! I am happy you stopped in. My goal is to provide information and resources to parents in the Wichita community with children in the Juvenile Justice System.

I am no expert by any means but I am raising two children of my own and I worked for Sedgwick County in the Department of Corrections at the Judge James V. Riddel Boys Ranch as a Senior Corrections Worker for over 4 1/2 years. It had it's ups and downs, but overall, I have gained much knowledge about myself, my own kids, the system and, of course, about the youth in society today.

My goal is to share my own tips for helping today's youth, not just those in the system, but all youth. My time with Sedgwick County showed me that most of the time, warning signs appear long before a child enters the system. I have also included a link page for local resources, juvenile justice statistics, national links and thanks to those who helped and supported me on this project.
